ST3 featuresThe gun in your hands
You practice the firearm you will carry
Marksman ST3 mounts on your rifle, shotgun, or handgun. Trigger weight, stock, and balance stay the ones you already have. You practice the mount and the follow-through of that firearm. No live round is fired at the screen.

What you can train
- 01
Stock to the cheek
The stock comes up to the cheek. You do not drop your head to find it.
- 02
Both eyes open
Shutting one eye breaks the swing into small corrections. Both eyes keep the target continuous.
- 03
The shot in front of you
Walk-up shots, high birds, driven animals, a slope, a high seat, or a sidearm from cover.
- 04
The fit of your own gun
Set the adjustable replica until the mount fits the shotgun or rifle you shoot. Take that fit to your own gun. The same replica covers dry work when the real gun stays in the rack.
What you see
- 01
A coach can stand with you
No live round is in the room, so a coach can put a hand on the gun and talk while you track.
- 02
A handling routine
The firearm is opened in view of the instructor. Buffer cartridges protect the firing pin. The pins are eased before the gun is put away.
Realism, safety, ethics
The session is still a firearm session. The routine is part of the training, not a detail you skip because the screen is safe.
Questions
Can you use your own rifle, shotgun, or handgun on ST3?
Yes. The wireless tracker mounts on your rifle, shotgun, or handgun. Trigger weight, stock, and follow-through stay those of that firearm. No live round is fired at the screen.
What if a real firearm is not available?
The adjustable replica is how you set the stock until the mount fits your own shotgun or rifle. It is also the gun for dry work when that firearm stays in the rack. Optional quick-release optics, with a lens that compensates for parallax, are for scope sessions.
The rest of the system
Figures are published Marksman ST3 specifications: 0.18 MOA tracking, about 1 ms from shot to screen, 235 calibers, 4,700+ rifle and handgun profiles, and 12,600 shotgun combinations.
