ST3 featuresThe range
Build the presentation, then shoot your own range
A Marksman ST3 scenario is the target, its path, and the background you train against. The library ships with 1,000+ scenarios. You set distance, speed, angle, and height, and a photograph of your own shooting range can be that background.

What you can train
- 01
The range you already shoot
Photograph the stand, the field, or the wall you use. Import the picture, and the target crosses that place.
- 02
One presentation, until it is yours
Hold distance, speed, angle, and height still, and repeat until the movement changes.
- 03
The safe lane in the picture
Place hunters, safety poles, trees, and bushes so the decision to hold fire is part of the scenario.
What you see
- 01
Distance and place
Where the target starts, travels, and stops, and how far it sits to the side.
- 02
Speed
How fast it moves, a faster or slower adjustment, and a variation so it is not identical every time.
- 03
Angle and height
The path angle, how much that angle varies, and the height of the flight.
- 04
Shots, order, and return
How many times you may fire at one target, a fixed order or a shuffled one, and an automatic return after a short delay.
- 05
Your photograph
Take a picture of your shooting range and import it. That picture is the background the target crosses.
- 06
Trees and bushes
Add vegetation to the scenario: trees and bushes, at the distance you set.
- 07
Custom silhouettes
The tactical extension lets you add your own silhouettes to the scenario.
- 08
People and cover
Hunters and safety poles can sit in the same picture, at the distance you set.
Realism, safety, ethics
A realistic picture does not make an unsafe shot a hit. Poles and people in your own background are still a no-shoot problem.
Questions
Can you create your own scenario on Marksman ST3?
Yes. You set the target's distance, speed, angle, and height, including how much each one varies, how many shots the target allows, and whether the order is fixed or shuffled. You can add vegetation, with trees and bushes, and place hunters or safety poles in the picture. The tactical extension lets you add your own silhouettes. The library already holds 1,000+ scenarios, and a photograph of your own shooting range can be the background.
Can you use a photo of your shooting range as the background?
Yes. Take a photograph of your shooting range and import it. Marksman ST3 uses that picture as the scenario background, and the target crosses the place you actually shoot.
Can you add custom silhouettes to a Marksman ST3 scenario?
Yes. The tactical extension lets you add your own silhouettes. You can also add vegetation, with trees and bushes, plus hunters and safety poles at the distance you set.
The rest of the system
