Section 1
Website operator
This website is owned and operated by Marksman Training Systems AB (org. nr 556175-5041), Finlandsgatan 18, 164 74 Kista, Sweden (“Marksman”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
References to “the site” mean this website and its subdomains operated by Marksman, unless otherwise stated.
Section 2
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Separate written agreements govern the purchase, licensing, installation, and support of Marksman products (including ST3, ST-Classic, and ControlHub). Where those agreements conflict with these website terms on product matters, the written agreement prevails.
Section 3
Browsing without an account
You may generally visit the site without registering. Our servers may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and session duration in aggregate or pseudonymous form to maintain security and improve content.
Personal data you voluntarily submit — for example through contact forms, demo requests, or surveys — is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.
Section 4
Cookies and online surveys
We use cookies and similar technologies as explained in our Privacy Policy. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent where required by EU and Swedish law.
When we run online surveys, we tell you at the point of collection how responses will be used. Do not submit information you are not authorised to share.
Section 5
Third-party websites
The site may link to third-party websites (for example dealers, maps, or video hosts). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Access them at your own risk and review their terms separately.
Section 6
Licence to use site content
Unless otherwise indicated, Marksman owns or licenses the content on this site, including text, images, videos, logos, downloads, and layout. You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you:
- Do not modify the content;
- Retain copyright and trademark notices;
- Do not imply endorsement or affiliation without our written consent.
Section 6.1
Revocation and restrictions
We may revoke this permission at any time. No other use — including republication, commercial exploitation, scraping, or incorporation into another product — is permitted without prior written consent from Marksman.
If you breach these restrictions, your permission ends automatically and you must destroy any copies you made.
The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Marksman disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on the site is complete, current, or suitable for your specific training or procurement decision.
Product specifications, ballistic data, videos, and blog articles are for general information. Always verify requirements with your dealer and applicable safety rules before operating firearms or installing simulators.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Section 8
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Marksman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site.
Where we are liable for damage under non-waivable law, our total aggregate liability arising from website use in any twelve-month period is limited to EUR 100, except where a higher minimum liability applies by law.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you retain mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection law. Nothing here affects your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where that right cannot be waived.
Section 9
Submissions and feedback
We welcome business inquiries and product feedback sent through designated channels. Unless we agree otherwise in writing:
- Submissions are non-confidential and non-proprietary to the extent they do not contain personal data processed under our Privacy Policy;
- We may use feedback to improve products and services without obligation to you;
- You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing material;
- You indemnify Marksman against third-party claims arising from content you submit in breach of these terms.
Section 9.1
Intellectual property in submissions
If you provide ideas, designs, or technical suggestions, you grant Marksman a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them for product development without compensation, unless a separate innovation agreement exists. Tell us before sharing protectable trade secrets if you require confidentiality — we can discuss an NDA for defined projects.
Section 10
Trademarks and intellectual property
The Marksman Training Systems name and logo, and product names including ST3, ST-2, ST-Classic, and ControlHub, are trademarks or registered trademarks of Marksman or its affiliates. Other names and logos on the site may belong to third parties.
No use of Marksman marks is permitted without prior written consent. The absence of a symbol (® or ™) does not waive our rights.
You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorised access to the site, accounts, or infrastructure;
- Introduce malware or interfere with site operation;
- Harvest data through automated means without permission;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- Use the site in violation of export control, sanctions, or firearms laws applicable to you.
Section 12
Changes to the site and these terms
We may update site content or these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page; continued use after publication constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
If you disagree with updated terms, stop using the site. Existing product contracts remain governed by their own terms.
Section 13
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws.
Disputes arising from website use shall be submitted to the courts of Sweden, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection rules grant you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Business users (B2B) agree to Swedish jurisdiction exclusively for website-related claims.
Section 14
Severability and language
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The English version of these terms governs if translations differ.
